Dipl. Ing., Dr Techn., em. O. Prof. of the Technical University of Vienna Hans Bertele von Grenadenberg (*Görz 2 July 1903 / †Stockton-on-Tees 3 July 1984) was the husband of Marceline Mautner von Markhof (see also ‘Hans and Marceline Bertele v. Grenadenberg – the beginning of a great love’) and son-in-law of Georg II. Anton and Emilie ‘Emy’ Reininghaus and brother-in-law of Georg III ‘Buwa’ Mautner Markhof. He was a renowned electrical engineer and passionate watch collector and had also made an international name for himself as a watch historian.
